Noble Industries, Inc. Brings New Jobs to Noblesville with New Automated Laser Cutting System

Noblesville, IN - August 14, 2012 - Noble Industries, a leading Indianapolis area metal fabrication company, is pleased to announce they have brought 18 new jobs to Noblesville, Indiana, in addition to being able to retain 15 employees that were hired earlier in the year with the purchase of their new automated laser cutting system, the Mazak laser Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS).

"Because our new automated laser cutting system allows us to operate around the clock, we will bringing in more employees to fulfill the extra work capacities,” said Brenda Snyder, Vice President of Sales for Noble Industries. “We are thrilled to be bringing these new jobs to the area."

The largest variable in manufacturing costs around the globe is related to labor, but with the Mazak FMS laser cutting system, direct labor is reduced during the cutting and handling process so fabricators everywhere can compete. The FMS is world-renowned for helping fabricators achieve competitiveness. It consists of a high-capacity material storage tower to store and retrieve up to ten different sheet specifications, a pneumatic load system to accurately position the sheet, and several versions of automatic unload depending on your applications. Once the raw material is loaded in the tower, the complete operation to finished part requires no labor. Its high capacity allows for complete shifts or weekends of operator unattended production.

"The extra capacity in laser cutting the FMS laser system creates then flows to other areas creating the need for additional people in those areas as well," said Snyder. "We have already sent six people to training and have employed 18 people due to the additional work we have. We expect to retain 15 employees that were employed earlier in the year with extra capacity that this gives us."
